Reconciled



I walked with uncertainty writ large on my face. It was time to cross the bridge. Years back ago I had made a mistake which has taken its toll on our relationship. It was time to make peace and move ahead. I looked at her with regret, for all those wasted years of separation.

The wrinkled face looked up at the approaching shadow, squinting in the darkness, eyes questioning. She looked at me and asked “So, you think you know it all now? Did you find the answers? Maybe life was too kind right!"
