Fear walks noiselessly
Among the milieu
How the mind works
Only the one who
Tastes fear knows.
There are many
Silent warriors
Who beat fear
Just to prove
Nothing last long.
Either you accept life
Is just sand passing
Through the fingers
Or let time frame
The path of destiny.
Wow Sunita, this is poignant and lovely!

ReplyDeleteYou can let fear get the best of you or you can let it flow past like so much sand, I like the sounds of that technique. Maybe that's why there is so much sand at the beach; it's where fear goes to rest...
ReplyDeleteWise advice here in your words, Sunita. Well said.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the prompt. We fear the otherness, what we see outside. And fear can serve as a protective shield that prevents us from connecting to others.
