Day-14
NaPoWriMo-2025
How we wait for him!
With pounding hearts.
Every dawn and dusk
Settles in action
At his arrival.
No breakfast or dinner
Can be laid on the table
Without his treasure.
Tring! Tring! Tring!
Rings a bell at 6am
Right on time
Like a rooster.
The eager ears
Alert and awake
Move on heels
Rushing through
The beds...whooshhhh!
With sleepy eyes
And tinkling coins.
Evening goes through
The same motion
Waiting eagerly
Sharply at 6pm
For the Tring! Tring!
Old and young
Stand at the gates
All smiles!Aah! The aroma!
Just to hold and taste
The hot and fresh buns!
No drizzling rains,
Whispering wintry mornings
Or sultrysmoldring summers
Can stop this magical peal
Every day throughout the year.
