In the times we live
Life has turned upside down
A disease here, a war cry there
Forever might be short.
A jotted line...
With unsaid words
Has left many broken dreams
In the pits of burning dust.
Forever might be short
As bloated egos
Control the universe
As innocents die somewhere
Wrapped in a gory shade.
