If freedom had a voice then,
There would be no regrets
For choosing life
With a pinch of salt.

The road taken
In youthful flush
Was not smooth
There were many thorns
Which left marks
On an aching heart.

As time moved on its heels
Many roads converged
With multiple scars
Reminders of a past
Smeared in sadness, and
A black hole of loneliness
A crisscross between
Life and death.

But, the hardships
Did add strength
Revolutionizing  the senses
With multiple hues
The course of belief changed
And made the road
Welcoming with
Fragrant and hopeful blooms.
