                                                                     Ginu and Laddu

I don't have much to share today,

Not all days are the same 

For a long time, 

Words have stayed away

It has been a chain of restlessness 

Still struggling to find what rhymes

                                                                                                                       

There is something to cheer-

These  are always eager, my munchkins,

To fill the void. 

With their love and adoring looks

How busy and active they get!Chasing squirrels,

Running after cats and shooing away crows

From dawn to dusk, 

barking at the gatecrashers.

A warm cuddle! My wagtails!

The day moves in frames

Dragging the hours 

Without a face

It was easy 

To weave words once

But now, the mood swings!

It is a struggle to write poetry,

How to make the mind not stray!
