Igniting the senses
With the hues
Of lush greens,
The ocean blues,
The autumn leaves.
The moving sensation
Cuts through
The depth-
Flooding the soul
With memories
Of bygone times.
Leaving behind
An icy heart-to wallow
In the harsh winters,
Time has left-to taste
The warm shores.
