Day 21,OctPoWriMo-2015
Eons ago, on the leeway
Lived a day- dreamer,
Mustering enough courage
She decided to see the city glamour.
The city lights took her breath away
Confused by the lifestyle of the city folk,
She got lost in the maze of make believe
There was too much of artificiality at every nook.
Overwhelmed by the cacophony
While taking a bus ride
She missed the fresh breeze
From the mountain side.
There was this young man
Sitting cozily on her left side
Stared at her unabashed
Blushed she, as a new bride.
She was swept off her feet
By his boisterous talk
They exchanged phone numbers
He wanted her by hook or by crook.
His persistence,
Engulfed her wandering heart
Weaving moments together
Cupid controlled them from the start.
Oh love! Wish you were here!
My heart yearns for you
In the blue of the night
Images aches in the autumn dew !
