Survival Instincts

 Day-11, OctPoWriMo-20

Standing alone on the precipice
Wondering! Where her life was heading.
Her fate was smothered
Under the mundane debris
Making it difficult to fulfill her dreams.
Courage she had enough, up her sleeve
She just needed some inspiration, to believe
And she did...God! How she did!
With blazing barbs turned against her
She faced them with a born resolve
She was a woman, who has set out
To show the world, that determination pays of
When the heart and mind works as her force.
Her success story is others envy
But she takes pride in her own destiny.

  5. Wonderful words! One really must live to follow one's own heart. Succumbing to the ambition of others only leaves one dead inside.
