Broken Pieces

Day-28
Prompt: Mending Broken Pieces
Form: Pantoum
                                                                    image: Sunita Prasad

When words softly caress,
Like a  sea, quiet and serene.
Poetry mends the broken pieces
Healing the heart in a lilting rhyme.

Like a sea, quiet and serene
Many emotions go too deep
Healing the heart in a lilting rhyme
Words dance on the fingertips.

Many emotions go too deep
Musing in rhyming tones
Words dance on the fingertips
As the heart scribbles blank notes.

Musing in rhyming tones
Poetry mends the broken pieces
The heart scribbles on blank notes
When words softly caress.

    1. I always find solace while oozing pain in a diary. Have been doing it from ages. Nothing can heal the wounds then penning one's thoughts on blank pages. Thank you Grams, for the constant appreciation :)
