Day 3 NaPoWriMo-2019
she listened carefully, at
the crashing of the waves
the pagan dance between the shore
and her feet brought back many memories.
when was that? some decades ago?
maybe for time immemorable.
there was something wrong
the sand didn't feel the same
the texture had a rough edge
did it too miss those heartbeats?
the silken bonds of soft velvet
was it just an imagination?
how long has it been?
yes, many seasons ago.
she stood there, contemplating-
there was silence everywhere
and in her heart too.
when the waves pulled her
in their bosom...
