Day-21 NaPoWriMo-2020
Prompt" Homophonic Translations"
Pic:Sneha
(A Finnish Poem)
Eino Leino (1878 - 1926)
Mine, the dawn of magical chant
I can see the loveliest love
I can hide in novel lines
Yes, an aura of a variant power.
Yes, the dawn of my lonely heart.
I can sing a joyous duet
I can catch on pause aye!
Yes, catch on I may say!
Yes, loud, lingering enjoyment.
(God knows what I decoded, but I tried :D )

Even when we don't understand the words the translation results in pretty good poetry. :-D
ReplyDeleteHahahaha...I seriously have no idea what those words mean.My daughter 's pic which she has taken while on her evening stroll made me take up the challenge. I weaved words keeping that spring flower in my mind and the phonetic sounds of the poem. Thank you for the compliment :)
