Life is difficult
Difficult and harsh
Harsh in every sense
Sense to know, we will all die.
The world is breaking into pieces
Pieces of displacement, anger, and hatred
Hatred towards the same flesh and blood
Blood of white and black, ironically, looks red.
So much of sadness
Sadness, being homeless
Homeless, in a land of wants
Wants many, and empty bellies.
Why so many borders?
Borders of colors
Colors, a superficial skin
Skin just a layer, not the being.
All have dreams
Dreams of acceptance and love
Love for humanity and hope
Hope, for some space to breathe in.
Let us share kindness
Kindness brings peace...
